Our Projects
Aktion Kat Distro
A Mutual Aid distro of Montclair NJ area residents working to bring the community together to meet some of our basic needs. Monthly community distro, monthly hot food distro, and mutual aid.
Montclair Area Harm Reduction Collective
Harm reduction collective working to address the overdose crisis and empower members of the community impacted by the racist drug war. We distribute safer use supplies, educational materials, and other essentials through the Aktion Kat Community Distros.
Montclair Beyond Policing
A Montclair-based police/prison abolitionist working group. We help organize the monthly NJ Abolition Workshops, run prision letter writing events, and other projects.
Guerrilla Gardening
We share the work gardening in the community to share amongst our members and through the Aktion Kat community Distros.
Study Group
We read together and learn together. There is always something new to learn. We have a discussion or reading group meeting every other week on Thursdays.
Reproductive Health
We are committed to supporting access to reproductive health for all.
RadiCraft
We gather monthly for a crafting get-together. Folks brings crafting supplies to share or just bring their craft projects. We might even work together on a community project that is decided on through consensus.
